Disruption Risk Index (DRI) — Coming Soon

DRI blends our core disruption analytics with current hazard alerts and congestion signals into a single, comparable metric you can act on daily. DRI's single score is delivered together with its three constituent components, so it's never a black box. DRI is in development now — below is a look at what it measures and a working mockup of the interface.

§02Layers Three layers, one score

Each layer answers a different question and updates on a different clock. Every score ships as the composite DRI plus these three components broken out.

Layer 1
Structural Baseline
Your port's normal seasonal risk profile, pulled directly from TDRX across vessel types and directions — what this port normally looks like right now.
Layer 2
Acute Hazard
Live natural-hazard alerts geofenced to each port and scored by severity — storm, flood, earthquake, whatever's active today.
Layer 3
Operational Congestion
How congested the port is right now relative to its own recent history, built from vessel-level tracking data.
§03Output
Granularity
Port × vessel type — container risk and tanker risk at the same port are two different numbers.
Cadence
Composite scores update daily, incorporating the most recent data on hazards.
Transparency
Every score ships as the composite plus all three underlying components, never one opaque number.
