Scenario Analysis — Coming Soon

Our TDRX analytics help you understand the distribution of likely outcomes given current conditions. Scenario Analysis takes it further: perturb the global transport system by closing a chokepoint, selecting a climate forecast, or other conditions, and examine the shock radius that emanates from your change along the routes, vessel types, and goods affected. These capabilities are under development now. We want to hear from you: tell us what you'd like to see to have it match your workflow perfectly.

§02Modes
Historical Scenario Catalog
Choose from a set of events that actually happened — a chokepoint closure, a canal draft restriction, a port shutdown — and filter to the routes, vessel types, and goods you're exposed to. We return the steady state before the event and the disruption during it, scoped to exactly what you asked for.
Hypothetical Scenario Analysis
Turn off up to a handful of nodes — ports, routes, or chokepoints — and see what happens to the specific routes, vessel types, and goods you select. Layer in a seasonal overlay (Suez in summer) or a canned climate scenario (hurricane season, monsoon season, drought, El Niño) on top.

Questions we're already getting

A sample of the scenario questions prospects have brought to us directly. This is what's shaping the product.

Insurance & Reinsurance
How many of my insured vessels end up in the same place if a chokepoint closes?
Quantify war-risk premium exposure by scenario, at the vessel level.
Government & Defense
If a disruption hits a major hub, where does critical capacity divert?
Port-level capacity diversion, measured programmatically instead of by hand.
Maritime Security
If piracy activity resumes in a given radius, what share of my fleet is exposed?
Vessel-level exposure inside any radius you define.
Government & Defense
Under a given scenario, how is fuel and resupply access for our vessels affected?
Refueling and ship-to-ship transfer access, scenario by scenario.
Commodity Trading
Which tankers end up in a given region under a given scenario?
Vessel-level positioning, filtered by type and cargo.
Chartering
What does future vessel availability look like, and where does it go?
Forward-looking availability by route and vessel class.
§04Preview Builder

A working mockup of the scenario builder

Pick a route, vessel type, and goods type, then turn nodes off to build a scenario and evaluate outcomes at ports and along routes that impact your business or portfolio. The numbers below react to your selections but are illustrative placeholders — the compute engine behind this is still in development.

Turn off a node
34.9 d

Mockup only — figures are placeholders that move with your selections to show the intended interaction, not a live scenario compute.
